SafeEatsBrand was created from a lifelong love of food, family, and purposeful living. Founded by Karen "Chef KC," the brand reflects a deep appreciation for nourishing meals made with care, intention, and quality ingredients.

Karen grew up in a home where cooking was a daily expression of love. Fresh vegetables, home-cooked meals, and time spent in the kitchen, especially alongside her grandmother, shaped her early connection to food. Those moments sparked a passion that later grew into a career centered on nutrition, wellness, and thoughtful cooking.

Her journey led her to study nutrition and pursue formal culinary training. She earned an Associate of Science degree from Grossmont College along with extensive culinary education. Her background includes Culinary Arts, Professional Baking, Farm-to-Table Certification, Molecular Gastronomy, and Forks Over Knives Plant-Based Culinary Certification. These experiences shaped her approach to cooking by blending creativity, science, and heart.
